Carolyn's Sakonnet Vineyards Wedding Photography

Alex and Adam had one of those special and magical days for their wedding when the light was just perrrrrrrrrrfect!!! It was a little rainy in the middle of the day, but not rainy enough to ruin the ceremony or make the ground muddy. It was just rainy enough so the clouds filtered out the harsh shadows and the soft lighting just made everything glow. Then they had a breathtaking sunset, and the reception was in a tent. I love photographing tents because they have low, shiny, white ceilings, so I can bounce a lot of light and get photos that look both natural and dramatic. Alex and Adam got married at Carolyn's Sakonnet Vineyards in Little Compton, RI. Vineyards are always a great choice for wedding venues, and Sakonnet especially so because they have big open fields, water, rows of grape vines, and, of course free-flowing wine!
